Our Services
NJ law requires that teenagers must have a minimum of 6 hours Behind-the-Wheel driver training in order to be eligible for a Learner's Permit at age 16.
KBee's offers driving instruction for students ages 16 and up. Our courses cover the fundamentals of driving skills, providing a knowledge of driving strategically in traffic, a review of basic laws and rules of the road and instruction in highway driving and emergencies. In addition, we allow plenty of time to practice 'Real-world' driving, including various types of parking spots, drive-thrus, and driving on roads of varied speeds and sizes. Our goal is to go above and beyond when providing the experience and information needed to prepare our students to be licensed drivers in the state of New Jersey.
KBee's Provides the Following Courses:
Teen Driving Package
- For NJ residents age 16 or 17
- Pickup and return at your designated location (school, home, work, etc.)
- Transport to NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (permit, eye test and written test)
- 6 hours behind-the-wheel individualized instruction
- Permit approval (pickup/delivery options)
- Course materials and resources included
- Flexible scheduling
Behind-the-Wheel Course Instruction for Drivers that already have their permit.
- For all NJ residents age 17 and older
- Pickup and return at your designated location (school, home, work, etc.)
- Transport to NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (paperwork, eye test)
- 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction
- Permit approval (pickup/delivery options)
- Course materials and resources included
- Flexible scheduling available
Driver Road Test Options
- Meet at approved testing location
- Pickup at your designated location and drive to or from testing center
- With or without refresher course
- Scheduling in accordance with NJMVC
- Use of KBee's training car for test day (helpful if you do not own a car that has the parking brake in the center console or does not meet NJMVC testing requirements).
Refresher Course
- To increase confidence after an accident or prior to testing
- Helpful for nervous drivers or those who need to improve skills
- Flexible scheduling available
